About

As the principal of Mayer Law, LLC, Daniel Mayer is passionate and dedicated about providing his clients with the best legal services that they require. As an attorney, Daniel started his career working at a law firm that assisted clients with bankruptcy and consumer-debt related legal issues. Daniel worked at the firm from 2009-2015 while doing estate planning for clients on the side. In 2014, Daniel worked with several mental health practitioners interested in starting a mental health practice in Baltimore, Maryland. Daniel would go on to become the In-House Counsel for the practice, Balance Point Wellness, LLC. As the counsel for Balance Point Wellness, Daniel helped them with everything from the initial formation documents and all other aspects of business and mental health law. Realizing he had a passion for healthcare law and that he thoroughly enjoyed working with practitioners, in December 2017 Daniel left Balance Point Wellness to start Mayer Law, LLC. Mayer Law was started with the goal of assisting small and medium businesses, medical, and mental health practices in much of the same capacity as he had served at Balance Point Wellness. Daniel lives with his wife, who is a clinical and forensic psychologist, and their young son in the Baltimore area. In his free time, Daniel is an avid football fan and an ardent follower of English soccer. He also enjoys reading and watching anything history-related, cooking, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family and his son. Having built Mayer Law, LLC from the ground up, and as a former In-House Counsel, Daniel understands all aspects of starting and running a business, medical, or mental health practice. As a husband and father, he can empathize with the needs of practitioners, businesses, and individuals. Daniel is admitted to practice law in Maryland. Before starting his practice, he attended Kenyon College, where he got a B.A. in Political Science with a Concentration in Legal Studies. He later attended the University of Baltimore School of Law.
