Dan’s practice encompasses complex commercial litigation matters including but not limited to workplace accidents, residential and commercial construction defects, professional and executive liability (attorneys, real estate professionals, and accountants), D&O, employment practices, non-compete restrictions, breach of contract claims, product liability, consumer fraud, insurance fraud, toxic torts, premises liability, general negligence, and appellate practice. Dan’s work has included defending clients from local family-owned businesses to national/international clients. He has successfully defended numerous insured entities, insurers, and self-insured companies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania state and federal courts, before the EEOC, and in mediation and arbitration forums. Dan also has extensive experience with electronic document review using e-discovery software including but not limited to Concordance, Summation, and custom-built web-based platforms. During law school, Dan was a staff writer for the Environmental Law Journal and published Commonwealth of Massachusetts v. EPA: Passing the Buck on Regulation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, 17 Vill. Envtl. L.J. 411 (2006). In addition, he participated in Villanova Law School's Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and Emigrant Services (CARES) and won asylum for a Liberian client after two merits hearings before the U.S. Immigration Court in Philadelphia.
