About

I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and am an active member of the city’s community. Prior to law school, I volunteered at the Natural Science Center, coached youth swimming, and helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity in Greensboro. Since law school, I have used my education and love of the area to give back as I can, volunteering time with various locally-organized events geared toward helping the community, both with legal issues and through other community service. In law school at Washington and Lee University School of Law, I was elected to serve on the Executive Committee, which presided over the honor court, among other duties. I participated in many school activities, ranging from intramural football to the Public Interest Law Students Association. Now, I represent clients in employment matters including hostile work environment, wrongful termination, harassment, and unemployment benefits claims.
