Craig K. Allen, a distinguished attorney based in Bellingham, Washington, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to his clients in the realm of general practice. Born in Prosser, Washington, and raised among the agricultural landscapes of Warden, Craig's early life on a family farm instilled in him a strong work ethic and a connection to the community. From the tender age of five, he was immersed in the rhythms of farm life, spending countless hours tending to crops and livestock, which has shaped his understanding of the value of hard work and dedication. Craig's academic journey began at Columbia Basin Community College on a football scholarship, before he transitioned to Western Washington University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Ethnic Studies. During his time at Western, he balanced his studies with various jobs, including roles at Sudden Valley Golf Course and in agricultural construction, showcasing his diverse skills and adaptability. In 1981, Craig received his law degree from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University) and established his solo practice in Bellingham. His career took a significant turn when he joined the Law Firm of McCush, Kingsbury, O’Conner, Ludwigson, Thompson, and Hayes, followed by a pivotal role with the Washington Attorney General's office, where he represented the Department of Labor and Industries. This experience fueled his desire to create a practice that prioritizes client advocacy and community service, leading to the formation of Allen Law Firm in 1996. Outside of his legal endeavors, Craig enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, Karen, whom he has been married to for 41 years, and their two daughters, Mallory and Mackenzie. As a devoted member of the Bellingham community, Craig Allen continues to embody the values of hard work and integrity, ensuring that his clients receive the highest level of legal support.
