Christopher Wayne Long is a seasoned personal injury attorney based in Huntsville, Alabama. Originally from Arlington, Texas, Chris's upbringing was a blend of urban life and rural charm, spending time both in the city and on his grandparents' ranch in East Texas. His educational journey began at Mesquite High School, followed by a football scholarship to East Texas State University. However, Chris chose to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army Infantry, where he gained invaluable life experiences. After his honorable discharge in 2001, Chris made Huntsville his home. He worked diligently in the local restaurant industry while pursuing his education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His hard work paid off when he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Chris furthered his education by earning a Juris Doctorate degree from the Birmingham School of Law in December 2010. As the founder of Christopher W. Long, Attorney at Law, Chris focuses on personal injury cases, advocating for clients who have suffered due to the negligence of others. His commitment to justice is deeply rooted in his own life experiences and military background. Outside of his legal practice, Chris is an engaged member of the Huntsville community. He is married to Dr. Patty Long, a chiropractor in Meridianville, Alabama, and together they are proud parents of five children: Christian, Dayne, J.T., Colt, and Trinity. The Long family is active in their local church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, as well as in their children's school activities. In addition to his family commitments, Chris is a member of Helion Lodge #1 Masonic Lodge and is involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion as a disabled veteran. His interests include golfing, riding his Harley, shooting sports, and coaching youth sports teams, reflecting his commitment to both family and community engagement.
