Mr. Clendenen is a native of Ohio, who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati where he graduated cum laude. He received his J.D. from the University Of Dayton College Of Law serving in the Legal Clinic and Tax Clinic assisting area residents. He is a member of the American, Kentucky, and Fayette County Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before the Eastern District of Kentucky for the US District Court and the Sixth Circuit of the US Court of Appeals. Mr. Clendenen concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Probate, Elder Law, and Real Estate. His primary focus is assisting the firm’s clients faced with the prospect of long-term care with asset preservation strategies, Medicaid planning and applications, and Special Needs Trusts Mr. Clendenen is accredited by the Veterans Administration and qualified to represent veterans and their families in the filing, presentation and prosecution of claims before the VA. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Clendenen is a frequent guest speaker at area functions on the topics of Estate Planning and Elder Law and can be heard regularly weekday mornings on the "Jack Pattie Show" WVLK- AM 590 discussing "Legal Issues in the News."
