Christopher D. Pavuk is the managing partner of Chartwell's Scranton office and focuses his practice on the representation of employers, insurance carriers, and third party administrators in the defense of workers compensation matters. Mr. Pavuk is a 1994 graduate of the University of Scranton, receiving both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. After graduating in 1998 from Widener University School of Law, he served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Richard P. Conaboy of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and Chairman of the United States Sentencing Commission in Washington, D. C. His experience as a federal law clerk introduced him to a wide variety of practice areas including civil rights, Social Security and employment law litigation. Prior to opening Chartwell's Harrisburg office in February, 2005, he worked as an associate attorney at the litigation firm, Post & Schell, P.C. practicing workers' compensation defense.
