I work on a diverse range of litigation matters, and represent clients ranging from individuals and small businesses to large, multi-national corporations and federal of matters I work on include intellectual property, litigation, commercial transactions, breach of contract, contract review and negotiation, construction law, internet law, social media, technology, business formation, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and the Communications Decency Act (CDA). I earned my law degree in 2007 from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, where I was an editor of the Arizona Law Review and completed an externship with the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division II. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in psychology, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University, where I was a member of the Barrett Honors College. I am admitted to practice in the Arizona Supreme Court and all lower courts, Arizona District Court, Arizona Bankruptcy Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. At a prior law firm, I served as chair of the Intellectual Property practice group, and before that I also chaired a Cyberlaw practice group. In 2018 Arizona Business Journal selected me as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in Arizona, and in 2017 Thomson Reuters selected me to receive Super Lawyer and Rising Star status. Prior to law school, I worked as an investigator for Child Protective Services. My unit specialized in methamphetamine lab busts, shaken baby cases, high-profile incidents. I completed training on investigation techniques, physical abuse, forensic interviewing, serial killer investigations, gang sign recognition and identification, HAZMAT site safety, and drug identification and testing. On several occasions I qualified as an expert witness and testified in court.
