Chellsie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2008. She began her career as an Investigator for Child Protective Services, where she developed a deep passion for helping families navigate difficult circumstances. Her experiences in the Department of Health and Human Services fueled her desire to pursue a legal career focused on advocacy and support. After six years as a child advocate, Chellsie attended Creighton University School of Law, excelling in her studies and receiving the prestigious CALI Award for Excellence in her Family Law, Wrongful Convictions, and Juvenile Law classes.
