Charles Robert Windon is a dedicated personal injury attorney based in California, where he champions the rights of those who have suffered injustices. With a rich legal legacy, Charles grew up inspired by his father, a skilled attorney, and his mother, a successful immigrant real estate agent from Sweden. This unique upbringing instilled in him a profound work ethic and a commitment to advocacy. Charles’s journey into law is not just a career choice; it is deeply personal. The memory of his aunt, who tragically suffered life-altering injuries in the 1950s after being hit and dragged by a bus, fuels his passion for justice. Charles firmly believes in addressing these disparities, stating, “There are many inequities and inequalities in the legal system that we’re still trying to combat, especially in criminal defense and personal injury.” Before joining Adamson Ahdoot LLP, Charles served as a Deputy Public Defender at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, where he was a staunch advocate for his clients, ensuring their rights were fiercely protected. He is an active member of the California Bar Association, licensed to practice in all state courts. In addition to his legal work, Charles contributes to the community by serving on the board of Death Penalty Focus, a nonprofit organization dedicated to abolishing the death penalty through public awareness and education.
