About
Ms. Thompson is a Senior Associate at the Federal Practice Group and in this role specializes in military law. Prior to coming to the firm she served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps, she held the titles of prosecutor, defense counsel, and Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. While in law school, she spent one year interning for the Tulsa County Public Defender's Office and another year interning with the General Counsel for the Tulsa County Tax Assessor's office. Ms. Thompson earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa, College of Law with a Certificate in International Law. In addition to maintaining two internships and graduating a semester early, Carol completed a study abroad program to Cairo, Egypt with Seton Hall University School of Law and the American University in Cairo, where she studied Islamic Jurisprudence and International Criminal Law. Prior to attending the University of Tulsa, Carol graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, and a minor in Economics.
