Carl Eric Christensen is the founder of Christensen Law Office PLLC, established in 2008, and brings over 15 years of legal experience in the fields of Intellectual Property Litigation and Real Estate. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Carl has built a reputation for excellence in business law, consumer law, and litigation. Prior to founding his firm, he honed his skills as a law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth Sandvik in Minnesota’s Sixth Judicial District and briefly served as a prosecutor in greater Minnesota. A respected authority in consumer and foreclosure law, Carl has authored numerous publications and presented at various Minnesota CLE programs. He also shares his expertise as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, where he teaches Intellectual Property Foundations. His extensive knowledge of intellectual property and domain name law is rooted in his experience as a student law clerk at the National Arbitration Forum, an ICANN-approved domain name dispute resolution provider. Carl is licensed to practice in Minnesota, New York, and multiple U.S. District Courts, as well as the 8th and 10th Circuit Courts of Appeals. His legal achievements include landmark victories in consumer protection and real estate cases, alongside successful trademark and intellectual property litigation. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer from 2017 to 2025, earned the MSBA North Star Lawyer designation for pro bono service, and holds an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Outside of his legal practice, Carl is passionate about cross-country skiing and enjoys exploring the outdoors with his partner, Karin, their daughter, and their dog.
