About
Ms. Smith is an attorney admitted in Arkansas, Colorado and Mississippi and has been practicing law since 2004. She attended the University of Arkansas both for her undergraduate studies and law school. She received her degree in Philosophy from the U of A in three years. She was the the Student Honor Council President in law school and thinks she recalls being on the Dean’s List once or twice. She has practiced a wide gamut of law, including criminal defense, family law, personal injury, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation and consumer rights. Currently, she is dedicating her expertise to those in need of estate planning. Having lost both of her parents in 2014 and her grandfather in 2013, she has acquired the real world life experience that comes from the death of loved ones. Ms. Smith is also an avid world traveler, having visited Asia, Europe, Mexico, South America and a large part of the United States. She studied creative writing one summer in college in Galway, Ireland. She is also an honorary princess in an Iban Indian tribe in the jungles of northern Borneo. She is an empathetic listener and a big sister. She has an eye towards the holistic, collaborative practice of law, but maintains a strong sense of justice. She is technologically saavy, but also maintains that there is no substitute for the art of conversation.
