Brian has significant experience in the restaurant, hospitality and food service industry where he represents clients such as Alinea Restaurant, Terragusto Restaurant, Schwa Restaurant, Isola Imports, SmallBar, Lava Lounge, and various national franchises and family owned establishments. Brian actively participates in his clients' business and his experience in the industry allows him to counsel clients on business planning and concepts through financing, licensing and operation. In addition to Brian's representation of restaurant and hospitality entrepreneurs, he also represents chefs in areas of employment agreements, equity interests and endorsement contracts. Brian began his legal career at a large national law firm in litigation and later focused on corporate law. He practiced there until July 1999 when the firm merged with Cowen, Crowley, Nord & Staub, P.C., which later became Stahl Cowen.
