Brian Michael Wright is the managing attorney and owner of Causey Wright, based in Seattle, Washington. With a strong commitment to advocating for injured and disabled workers, Brian specializes in Workers' Compensation, Appeals, Admiralty & Maritime law, and Personal Injury. Growing up in the greater Seattle area, he brings a unique perspective to his practice, having previously worked in the construction industry before pursuing higher education. Brian earned his undergraduate degrees in Japanese Studies and Political Science from the University of Washington, followed by a law degree, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law. During his time in law school, he contributed to the Seattle University Law Review as a member of the editorial board. He is licensed to practice before the Washington State Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In his practice, Brian represents clients in workers' compensation claims before the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, as well as those covered under the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. He also collaborates with fellow attorneys to advocate for victims of asbestos-related diseases and occasionally handles Jones Act and maritime cases. Beyond his legal work, Brian is actively involved in organizations dedicated to preserving the rights of injured workers, including serving as an Eagle member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ). His dedication to his clients and the community underscores his commitment to justice and advocacy in the legal field.
