I am passionate about vigorously and ethically representing each and every client I have the privilege to work with and believe it is very important to give back to the community. In that vein, I not only teach attorneys about specific areas of the legal landscape in the state of Washington (this year I was Chair of a full day seminar discussing advanced issues involving real estate and land use litigation and co-presented on two of the topics with Jack McCullough and Chris Brain and will alos present at a National Conference on e-discovery issues in October of 2014) but also am very active in the community in general. For example, I am currently serving as a Trustee at my alma mater, Seattle Pacific University, am serving as the as Immediate Past Chairman of the County Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of King County (the third largest club of clubs in the United States) working with 25 county board members and over 200 local club board members, am serving on the Board of Governors of the Washington Athletic Club and am a nominated member of the Fellows of the Amercian Bar Association and The 101 Club. With regard to my professional work as a commercial trial attorney, I have been named a Washington State SuperLawyer from 2003-2014, was listed as a Top Attorney in Washington by the SeattleMet magazine for Business Litigation in 2011, was listed as a Top Trial Attorney in Washington by the Seattle Magazine in 2012 and listed as a Top Rated Lawyer in Banking and Finance Law by Martindale Hubbell in 2013.
