Barbara R. Axelrod is a seasoned attorney based in Pennsylvania, renowned for her expertise in medical malpractice, personal injury, and rail law. With over three decades of legal experience, Barbara has made her mark in the legal community since her early career as an assistant city solicitor for the City of Philadelphia. A pivotal moment in her career occurred in 1989 when she authored a brief that led the state Supreme Court to vacate a $3.8 million judgment in the landmark case of Scarborough v. Reading Railroad, showcasing her exceptional legal acumen. Throughout her tenure at the Beasley Firm, Barbara has successfully handled numerous appeals across diverse areas, including medical malpractice, product liability, and libel, earning respect from colleagues and clients alike. Her strategic approach and commitment to justice have resulted in significant victories that have positively impacted the lives of her clients. Barbara is a proud alumna of Middlebury College, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in 1973, and she earned her J.D. from Villanova University in 1977.
