About

Austin Harris was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. He attended Indiana University - Bloomington for his undergraduate studies in Accounting at the Kelley School of Business. Following, he was a business development intern for Ice Miller before continuing his education at Indiana University McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. While at McKinney, Mr. Harris was a Business Law Association member and earned a Graduate Certificate in corporate and commercial law. He also took part in Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic's Spring4Justice efforts to help raise support towards providing legal assistance and education to low-income individuals. Before joining Luisa White Law, Mr. Harris also gained valuable experience as a legal intern at the Legal Aid Corporation of Tippecanoe County continuing his efforts towards serving the indigent community. During his time at Legal Aid, he represented clients under attorney supervision in landlord/tenant, family law, and other matters through Legal Intern Certification with the Indiana Supreme Court. His work consisted primarily of drafting, researching, and representing clients in court matters, among other aspects of the attorney-client relationship. Mr. Harris developed a strong understanding and respect for the importance of adequate representation. Professionally, Mr. Harris's practice areas include civil litigation, criminal defense, bankruptcy and family law. Mr. Harris maintains his commitment towards fighting for client legal rights to achieve successful resolutions amid difficult times.
