Austin is a member of Johnston Barton's Business and Tax Practice Group. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of law (J.D., 2011). Austin received his undergraduate degree from the Auburn University. He double majored in Economics and Political Science and graduated summa cum laude as a Phi Beta Kappa member in 2008. He was the recipient of the Charles P. Anson Scholarship, awarded to the top overall senior in the Economics Department. Austin is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, studying economics and spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs.
