Graduated from the University of Michigan with honors in 1983 and received my J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1986. Prior to concentrating in family law, I practiced securities law and complex litigation in San Francisco, California and clerked for former Chief Judge Clarence A. Brimmer of the United States District Court for the state of Wyoming commencing in 1992.
