About
Ashley is a longtime Atlanta native who has practiced various areas of the law, but has always practiced family law as her career passion. Working at Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor allows her to achieve her goals of providing skilled representation to clients that results in long-term benefits for them and their families alike. She is a member of many Bar Associations in the metro area and sworn into practice in all Georgia State Courts, Appellate Courts, Federal Courts and the Supreme court of Georgia. Known among her peers for excelling in client interaction, a graduate of Tulane University, attaining her B.A. and graduating from Georgia State College of Law with her J.D., and the University of Alabama College of Law with her L.L.M, she is committed to communicating promptly with clients and being available for them. She strives to answer any and all questions as well as calm fears and nerves to help put the client at ease during the representation. Ashley always makes sure to explain all scenarios and assist her clients in weighing the options for the best outcome for the clients. She applies the best interest of the child standard to all her cases, concentrating on the long-term best for the family as a whole. Ashley feels two of her best assets are that she is making her clients feel at ease and confident in being accessible. Whether she practiced at other law firms or represented Fulton County constituents as a Superior or Magistrate Court Judge, or constituents in Clayton County as a Probate Court Judge, Ashley has always strived to be fair and honest with the utmost integrity. Ashley has four children, two boys and two girls, whom she spends time with at home through their sports interests and school as well as spending time with them at Lake Oconee. Ashley enjoys traveling and learning new cultures as well as playing Golf to clear her mind. She also serves on the Chastain Park Civic Association Board and the Board of Reynolds Lake Oconee Club. She is also past president of the CHOA Friends Group for her community and a sustaining member of Junior League of Atlanta. Giving back to the community is an important part of her life.
