About
Mr. Plastino, a specialist in workers’ compensation law, has been certified by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Law Section. Because of his knowledge and 36 years of workers’ compensation experience, he has served as an expert in workers’ compensation related malpractice cases. Mr. Plastino is often asked to speak on workers’ compensation issues at seminars and conferences. He started his career as an attorney advisor for the Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in Washington, D.C. After solidifying his workers’ compensation and subrogation experience with the firm of Robb Leonard Mulvihill, Traveler’s Insurance and Cigna Insurance Companies, and Scarlata and Plastino, he started his own law firm in 1992. In 1979, Mr. Plastino received a Juris Doctor Degree from Duquesne University School of Law, where he served as Associate Editor of the Law Review from 1977 to 1979. He obtained a B.A. degree from Susquehanna University in 1976, graduating summa cum laude. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and West Virginia. Mr. Plastino is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Court Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
