Angela Lawson is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis with a B.B.A. in International Business and a B.A. in Spanish. She studied in 2002 at the Institute of International Studies in Seville, Spain. Upon graduation, Angela spent three years as a Spanish teacher in the Memphis area. In 2007 Angela enrolled in the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she worked as a research assistant in the areas of tort, copyright, and sports law, served as an officer in the student chapter of the Association of Woman Attorneys, and was a Notes Editor on the University of Memphis Law Review. Angela received Cali Awards in Torts I and Property II. She graduated cum laude in 2010.
