About
I focus my practice on business organization and transactions, as well as real estate and litigation matters. I work closely with entrepreneurs and other members of the community to strategize and develop their ideas. Before joining Neider & Boucher, I worked as an insurance coverage litigator for Perkins Coie LLP, and helped corporate clients recover insurance policy proceeds after major losses. In the course of my legal practice, I haved also advised pro bono clients in matters regarding prisoners' rights, immigration, and other constitutional and civil rights claims. I help indigent clients petition courts for relief, appear in court on behalf of incarcerated clients, and consult with experts on issues facing disenfranchised individuals. As a member of the University of Wisconsin Law School's Task Force on Professional Skills Education, I researched innovations in legal education extensively. Before that, I managed projects for a healthcare software company, and worked with physicians at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in preparing manuscripts for publication. In my free time, I advise three dogs on complicated legal matters, including government-mandated frequency of walks, lawful division of kibble- and bits-based assets, and the constitutionality of leash laws.
