Andres Hermida was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science before attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law and graduating with a Juris Doctor degree. While at the University of Florida, he tried criminal cases as a Certified Legal Intern at the Gainesville State Attorney's Office and the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. He was a member of the University of Florida's Trial Team, winning national championships at the 2018 ABA National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition and the 2018 Puerto Rico Trial Advocacy Competition. Mr. Hermida also interned for the Florida Supreme Court with Justice Jorge Labarga during his last year of law school. Mr. Hermida lives in Miami, Florida and is the oldest of three brothers.
