Amy M. Ruby is the owner and principal of Ruby Legal Solutions, PLLC, established in February 2020. Her main focus is on family law matters including divorce, custody, and parenting time issues. She also spends a good portion of her time managing cases in the probate court including guardianships, conservatorships, decedent's estates, and trust litigation. Prior to starting her own firm in February 2020, Ms. Ruby was with the firm of Michael W. Reeds (and the Honorable Travis M. Reeds before he took the bench as a Judge at the 52-1 District Court). She was an Associate Attorney there continuously since 2010. Ms. Ruby graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2008, and received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Adrian College in 2003. In 2011, Ms. Ruby was voted as one of Crain’s Twenty in their 20s by Crain’s Business Detroit. She was also featured in an article in Motion, the magazine for the Detroit Legal News. Amy M. Ruby completed the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's Family Law Certificate Program and received a certificate in 2018.
