About
With two decades of dedicated legal practice, Amy Parker has built her career on a foundational commitment to defending those most vulnerable in our legal system. Amy is not afraid to stand in between her client and the government. Her practice is defined by her relentless advocacy and a fearless approach to advocacy. Throughout her career, she has successfully litigated complex and serious felony cases, achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. From securing not guilty verdicts to obtaining dismissals on critical charges—including third strike life sentences, murder cases, sex offenses, and serious robbery charges—Amy has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to successfully navigate cases with steep odds and the most difficult legal terrains. She will go after these bad government actors civilly and hold them accountable. After police or prosecutors have recklesslessly destroyed a person’s life, rarely are they held accountable through a civil lawsuit. Amy will hold the government accountable for their unlawful arrest, prosecutorial misconduct, excessive use of force or violence, and/or their wrongful removal of children from their rightful parents, While no amount of money can remedy these injustices, Amy will fight for you and not allow the government to just walk away from the harm they’ve caused. She believes in the important importance of equitable legal representation and believes everyone should have access to legal resources. Amy is committed to representing marginalized groups who have been denied access to legal resources due to historical disenfranchisement or financial barriers. Amy strives to provide culturally competent legal representation to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and women who have been excluded from accessing the benefits of the civil legal systems.
