I am a Board Certified Specialist in State and Federal Criminal Law and have been Board Certified since 2003. I am a past chair of the Criminal Justice Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and past co-chair of the Criminal Law Board Certification Committee for the North Carolina State Bar. I have also been voted by my peers to the North Carolina Legal Elite from 2007 through 2014 and Super Lawyers from 2008 to 2014.. Finally, I am an AV rated lawyer, which is the preeminent rating an attorney may receive through Martindale Hubbell. My practice is almost exclusively dedicated to serviing individuals who have either been charged with a criminal offense or are being investigated by either State or Federal Law Enforcement.
