Amber Kikine Quintal is a distinguished member of the Business Department at Ogden Murphy Wallace, P.L.L.C., located in the vibrant legal landscape of Washington State. With a concentrated expertise in corporate governance, Ms. Quintal adeptly navigates the intricate realms of federal, state, and local taxation, estate planning and probate, as well as general business law. Her extensive knowledge and experience uniquely position her to provide clients with strategic guidance and practical solutions tailored to their specific needs. Ms. Quintal's academic journey began at the University of Washington, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy in 2001. She furthered her education at the same esteemed institution, obtaining concurrent J.D. and M.B.A. degrees in 2005, followed by an LL.M. in Taxation in 2006. During her time at law school, Ms. Quintal demonstrated her commitment to community service by serving as a student attorney in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic and gaining invaluable experience as a graduate intern with King County Metro Accessible Services. She also contributed to the academic community as a teaching assistant in graduate courses focused on corporate governance and technology. Recognized for her dedication and expertise, Ms. Quintal was awarded the Washington State Bar Association Tax Section Scholarship for the 2005-2006 year. She continues to share her knowledge as a part-time lecturer at the University of Washington School of Law, where she teaches Federal Tax Research and Writing, and also imparts her insights in the Master of Tax program at Golden Gate University. Active in the legal community, Ms. Quintal holds memberships in the Washington State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, where she currently serves as President of the WSBA Tax Section and is a member of the Tax Council. Her leadership experience extends to her previous role as a Fellow in the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Section from 2010 to 2012, where she now holds significant leadership positions. Acknowledged for her exceptional contributions, she has been named a Rising Star in Tax Law by Washington Law and Politics multiple times, further solidifying her reputation as a leading expert in her field.
