About

Probate is an area of law in which I specialize because of the opportunity to help people through what is often their time of greatest challenge and vulnerability. I proceed with compassion and empathy for those who have lost a loved one. Probate and estate administration are always made easier if the deceased had an up to date, well thought out estate plan. In estate planning I listen to the clients explain their ultimate goals and devise the most effective and practical means of achieving those objectives. Trusts are particularly helpful as they can accomodate desires that may not otherwise be attainable. This process often entails reading between the lines. This is helpful because a client is not always aware of the various legal avenues to achieve what are sometimes complex desires and goals for their estate. In addition to a will and or trust, an estate plan should include a power of attorney for health care in which wishes for their care may be expressed. It is my objective to make a difficult time and process efficient and understandable for the client. Why Every Adult Needs A Will. Radio interview.
