Alison Douillard Hawthorne, known as Ali, is a distinguished attorney at Beasley Allen Attorneys at Law in Montgomery, Alabama, where she has been a vital part of the Consumer Fraud Section since November 2010. Ali’s legal journey at Beasley Allen began with pivotal involvement in the Average Wholesale Price (AWP) and McKesson litigations, which sought to reclaim millions lost by state Medicaid agencies due to the dishonest pricing tactics of major drug manufacturers. Through these efforts, Beasley Allen has successfully recovered over a billion dollars for the states it represents, making a profound impact on state agencies nationwide. Her professional accolades reflect her dedication and expertise; Ali holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was honored as the Beasley Allen Lawyer of the Year in the Fraud Section in both 2014 and 2015. Originally from Kennesaw, Georgia, Ali’s legal career began with her work alongside Atlanta attorneys before relocating to Montgomery to pursue her law degree. She is married to Raymond James Hawthorne, Jr., an attorney in private practice, and together they are proud parents to their son, Jack. The Hawthorne family is actively engaged in their community as members of First United Methodist Church in downtown Montgomery.
