Former Federal Judge Alexander Williams Jr., twice elected State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, and the only retired Federal judge practicing as an attorney in all of Maryland, heads the Prince George's County and Southern Maryland litigation team at Silverman|Thompson|Slutkin|White, an AV-rated law firm based in Baltimore, Maryland. After serving as State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, Judge Alexander Williams was appointed by President Clinton to the Federal District Court in Maryland where he sat on the bench for 19 years and presided over thousands of complex criminal and civil matters. Along with Judge Alexander Williams, the trial group includes former State and Federal Prosecutors, former felony Assistant Public Defenders, and former Maryland Court of Special Appeals Judge, Joseph F. Murphy. With over 100 years of combined experience defending clients, the team specializes in the investigation and defense of major federal and state drug crimes, white-collar crimes, and corporate investigations.
