About
Alexander von Fricken is a former Virginia prosecutor with a strong background in criminal law. His criminal law experience includes exposure to a wide range of felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic infractions in the Circuit, General District, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts of Virginia. Mr. von Fricken attended the University of Virginia, where he graduated with a B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in finance and accounting. He attended law school at The Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he discovered his passion for litigation and the courtroom. After graduating law school, Mr. von Fricken worked as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Prince William County where he amassed significant trial experience, handling thousands of misdemeanors and felony cases, while taking dozens of cases to jury and bench trials in the county’s Circuit Court. He founded a private practice, von Fricken Law PLC, where he has utilized his criminal justice and trial experiences as well as professional relationships to represent the best interests of his clients throughout Northern Virginia state courts on a broad range of criminal, traffic, and civil offenses. He also handles related matters such as driver’s license issues, firearms rights and concealed weapon permit issues, expungements, bond motions, suppression motions, civil asset forfeiture, probation violations, protective orders, and victim representation.
