About
Alex Brown is the former Staff Attorney for the Superior Court Judges of the Waycross Judicial Circuit and a State of Georgia Certified Mediator. Born and raised in Waycross, Alex is a graduate of the Ware County Magnet School, where she was the winner of the 2002 and the 2003 GHSA Class “A” State Golf Championships. Alex was the 2003 Waycross Exchange Club Student of the Year, a Satilla REMC Scholarship Recipient, a Ware County Sports Hall of Fame Student-Athlete, and a finalist in Miss Teen Georgia. Attending on a NCAA Division I golf scholarship, Alex earned her B.A., cum laude in Environmental Studies from Mercer University. Thereafter, Alex earned her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, serving as the Mercer Law Second Amendment Society President, Federalist Society Vice-President, Mercer Law Republicans President,appointed member of The William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court, and Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity. Alex currently serves as Vice-President of the Waycross Bar Association and is a member of the Waycross Judicial Circuit Domestic Task Force. When not working tirelessly for her clients, Alex enjoys woodworking, cooking, and playing with her two cats, Tux and Penske. Alex is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Rodney H. Brown of Waycross. Alex specializes in domestic relations, divorce, legitimation, paternity, custody, visitation, personal injury, juvenile court, adoptions, criminal defense, and general litigation.
