Ms. Arkin handles coverage disputes, matters of policy interpretation, cases where the insurance company recommends a contractor, or chooses to repair the property, matters of benefits calculation, amount of loss, and cases involving alleged misrepresentations in an application, or alleged fraud/arson. Ms. Arkin also handles additional complex insurance litigation matters including Florida’s RICO Act, Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, declaratory judgment actions, and intentional torts by insurance companies including fraud, wrongful prosecution, statutory Bad Faith and other causes of action for punitive damages against insurance companies.
