About
My practice focuses on trademarks, licensing, copyrights, Internet issues and IP enforcement. My trademark experience includes the clearance and prosecution of over 2500 applications, including dozens of matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). I have successfully negotiated hundreds of agreements in diverse fields ranging from software to consumer goods to apparel. Prior to founding Schwartz Intellectual Property Law in 2009, I practiced in the intellectual property departments of McCarter & English LLP and Kane Kessler PC, where I gained experience in practice areas including intellectual property transactions and federal litigation. I attended the University of Michigan Law School, where I was an Associate Editor of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review and a leader of the Entertainment Law Student Association.
