Abigail Green is a dedicated attorney based in Louisville, Kentucky, specializing in Juvenile Defense and Personal Injury law. A proud native of Louisville, Abigail graduated from Sacred Heart Academy with an International Baccalaureate diploma before earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. She furthered her education by obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. With extensive litigation experience, Abigail began her career as a staff attorney at the Louisville Metro Public Defender, where she represented over a thousand adult and juvenile indigent defendants facing a wide range of charges, including felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic offenses. Her hands-on experience in Jefferson District, Circuit, and Family courts has equipped her with the skills necessary to navigate complex legal proceedings, allowing her to successfully serve as lead counsel in both jury and bench trials. At Kellner Green, Abigail focuses on high-conflict family law cases, including divorce and custody disputes. She adeptly represents clients across various dockets in Jefferson Family Courts, including dependency, neglect and abuse, paternity, and EPO/DVO cases. Additionally, she serves as an appointed Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the best interests of children in challenging situations. Abigail is an active member of the legal community, serving as a Barrister member of the Louis D. Brandeis Inn of Court and participating on the Alumni Advisory Committee for the Kentucky Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. She also contributes her time to various organizations in Louisville, passionately assisting youth and families in need.
