He attended local schools, culminating in his graduation magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law, passing the Kentucky Bar exam in 2013. Abe's early ambition was to be in the courtroom, a goal he achieved as a law student by prosecuting felony cases for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This hands-on experience provided him with a deep understanding of the criminal justice system from both sides of the bench. Following his graduation, Abe served as a staff attorney for Fayette Circuit Judge Kimberly Bunnell, gaining invaluable insights into court operations and legal procedures. He later joined a Lexington law firm, where he honed his skills across various practice areas before discovering his true passion for criminal defense. In 2019, he became a partner in the firm, further solidifying his commitment to advocating for those accused of crimes and misconduct.
