Aaron Brenneman graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 1999. He began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Crook County. He gained extensive trial experience working as a prosecutor. In 2003, Aaron joined the firm DeKalb & Associates where he practiced in the field of criminal defense. For over seven years he handled the most serious of cases in Deschutes County to include homicide, robbery, sexual assault and DUI. In 2010, Aaron was appointed the Chief Deputy District Attorney for Crook County. In that capacity, he trained prosecutors and law enforcement officers in Central Oregon and accross the state of Oregon. Aaron handled major felony cases for the DA's Office including homicide and child abuse. In 2017 he founded Brenneman Law LLC, a private firm specializing in criminal defense. Aaron is married and has two active children. The family enjoys camping, hiking and all outdoor sports including skiing in the winter. Aaron and his wife have lived in Central Oregon since 1999. Aaron is active with the Oregon State Bar Criminal Law Section as their Treasurer, serves on local charitable boards and volunteers at his childrens school.
